Handcrafted ceramics from Sydney, Australia

Welcome to my studio. I’m Fiona Carter, a Sydney-based ceramist creating handmade vessels, tableware and sculptural pieces inspired by calm, colour and considered design. My work draws from natural forms, coastal palettes and the quiet balance found in both traditional and contemporary craft.

Each piece is made slowly and thoughtfully in my Sydney workshop, with a focus on clean lines, gentle textures and a sense of ease. I value small-batch making, tactile detail and the individuality that comes from working by hand.

Here you’ll find my current collections, including Galíni, a series inspired by the serene colours and spirit of Greece, as well as ongoing projects that explore geometry, pattern and the natural rhythms of the sea.
